Book Release Celebration

What a wonderful evening — and what a week. We celebrated the release of INK: Discover the Power of the Pen in a Digital World with a warm and fun release party as we counted down to the book’s official launch on Tuesday, November 4th. Friends and family gathered to toast the idea that the pen still matters, even in this fast paced digital world.

Our home was full of stories, laughter, reflection and the kind of conversation that inspired this book. Hearing real-life memories and reactions to passages from INK reminded me why I wrote it: to reconnect readers with the power of handwritten thought and intentional expression. Several guests shared with me their own experiences — some of which appear in the book — and those moments made the evening feel personal and collaborative rather than just celebratory.

I’m deeply grateful to my family, specifically my wife, Amie, my close friends, and my Facebook friends who contributed real life stories, encouragement, and honest feedback during the writing process. Those contributions — and the steady support over the past fourteen months of writing — shaped INK in ways I couldn’t have achieved alone.

If you weren’t able to join us, I hope you’ll pick up a copy of INK  and experience the book for yourself.

To everyone who came, who read early drafts, who shared memories, and who cheered me on: thank you. This launch felt like a shared achievement, and I can’t wait to keep the conversation going about the power of the pen and what handwritten communication still brings to our digital lives.
